Software Engineer - Quantitative Research

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team of quantitative researchers. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing software using Python and will be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.



Job Summary:

  • Participate in the development of new software systems and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of existing ones.
  • Work closely with quantitative researchers to design and implement data analysis pipelines and integrate them into our trading system.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to develop and maintain production-quality software.
  • Contribute to the development of novel technical solutions and propose improvements to existing processes.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Python.
  • Experience with distributed message-based systems and server-side software development.
  • Strong understanding of agile software development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to self-manage and seek opportunities for process improvement.
