This role is responsible for driving financial performance in a fast-growing retail group with 18 stores nationwide. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounts payable, reconciliations and multi-company reporting, as well as experience managing and leading a small finance team.
- The Financial Performance Specialist will oversee day-to-day finance operations including management accounts, cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
- They will prepare monthly and year-end financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Additionally, the specialist will participate in budgeting and forecasting processes across the group, providing actionable financial insights and reporting to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Collaboration with store managers and department heads to monitor and control costs is also expected.
- The specialist will work with external auditors and manage year-end audit processes, developing and enhancing internal controls, financial systems, and procedures.
- Continuous improvement and automation within finance processes will be driven by the specialist, who will also support stock control, margin analysis, and retail performance KPIs.
- A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2-3 years PQE is required.
- Background in retail/FMCG/multi-company setup is highly desirable.
- The successful candidate will have proven ability to manage and lead a small finance team.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and advanced Excel.
- Excellent communication skills are required to partner effectively with senior management.
- The specialist must balance hands-on transactional work with oversight and improvements.
- Salary: 70K - 80K DOE.
- Bonus, performance related.

- Full-time, office-based role. No WFH. 9:00–17:30, Monday to Friday.
