\Key Responsibilities
\The Role of a Social Care Worker and Assistant Support Worker is to provide care to people who avail of our service. This will include:

- Supporting people with their daily plan\
- Supporting people whilst in the community\
- Supporting people with their education, skills development and achieving personal outcomes\
- Supporting people with their living skills such as Cooking, Cleaning, Laundry, attending appointments, family visits etc.\
- Being familiar with and adhering to all Company policies and procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practice in so far as is reasonable and practicable.\
- Shift work over 24 hours a day and 7 days a week\
- Assisting with daily routines, meal preparation, and household tasks\
- Maintaining accurate records and reports\
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery\
- Providing emotional support and companionship to Service Users\
- Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge\
- Fulfilling administrative duties as required\
- Representing the organisation in a professional manner at all times\
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives\
- Meeting productivity and performance targets\
- Contributing to a positive and respectful team culture\
- Complying with data protection and confidentiality policies\
- Performing other related duties as assigned by management\

- Requirements:\
- A level 7/8 degree in Social Care/Healthcare or related discipline (Must be registered with CORU)\
- Good attitude to work and passionate about supporting people\
- Full Driver’s Licence required or in the process of achieving a Full Driver’s Licence\
- Relevant life experience would be desirable but not essential\
- No qualification required for Assistant Support Workers (All necessary training provided)\
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment\
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills\
- Demonstrated empathy and understanding of diverse perspectives\
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information\
- Physical ability to perform tasks associated with caregiving\
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances\
- Proactive approach to learning and development\
- Positive attitude towards diversity and inclusion\
