As a senior physiotherapist, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional patient care at our hospital. Key Responsibilities
  • CURRENTLY REGISTERED WITH THE COUNCIL OF ONCOLOGY REGISTRATION UNITS (CORU) AND ELIGIBLE FOR MEMBERSHIP OF THE IRISH SOCIETY OF CLINICAL PHYSIOTHERAPY (ISCP)
  • A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS POST-REGISTRATION EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
  • POSTGRADUATE QUALIFICATIONS ARE A DISTINCT ADVANTAGE
  • INPATIENT EXPERIENCE IN ORTHOPAEDICS AND REHABILITATION IS ESSENTIAL
  • CURRENT PERMISSION TO WORK IN IRELAND IS ALSO REQUIRED

As a senior physiotherapist, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients with musculoskeletal conditions, primarily concussion and vestibular disorders. You will work closely with senior staff and the physiotherapy manager to ensure high standards of patient care are maintained.

Requirements
  • THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE AN ELECTIVE ORTHOPAEDIC CASLOAD AND WILL BE ROSTERED ON MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, AND WEDNESDAYS
  • ADDITIONAL HOURS MAY BE REQUIRED OR AVAILABLE
  • STAFF WILL BE ROSTERED ON WEEKEND ROTAS APPROXIMATELY ONE IN TEN

As a senior physiotherapist, you will have excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to high professional standards. You will also possess strong time management and prioritization skills, as well as experience of quality improvement/audit. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical leadership in this role and be willing to provide early/late and weekend cover.
