Job Overview

As a strategic procurement leader, you will oversee category management and drive effective procurement strategies across multiple categories. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive plans to optimize performance, reduce costs, and manage supplier risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to drive spend under management and value for the organization.
  • Develop and execute multi-year category plans aligned with business goals and market dynamics.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of go-to-market and sourcing strategies, associated plans, and negotiation strategies.
  • Identify, assess, and manage supplier risk, as well as negotiate high-value contracts that align with business objectives.
  • Responsible for leading cost efficiency programs, ensuring accurate benefits tracking, and fostering long-term relationships with suppliers.
  • Utilize insights and analytics to create cost savings plans and sourcing strategies that align with business goals and promote innovation.

What We're Looking For:

  • 7+ years of experience in category management or a related field, preferably with expertise in procurement category development.
  • Ability to manage complex sourcing activities, develop negotiation strategies, and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and delivering multi-year strategies, driving commercial advantage, and building strategic partnerships with suppliers.
  • Proven track record of developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
