As a Facilities and Engineering Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing both facilities management and soft services, providing technical support to ongoing projects and driving continuous improvement through effective service delivery.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing service providers and engaging senior stakeholders. Additionally, they should possess a solid understanding of safety regulations, quality systems, and project management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage service provider contracts, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Ensure the site is maintained in a GMP-compliant state, ready for audits at any time.
- Support investigations related to service performance, safety, and quality, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide technical facilities support to ongoing projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
- Manage budgets, continuously optimizing service performance and driving down costs without compromising quality.
- Oversee a wide range of services, including maintenance, HVAC, cleaning, pest control, catering, lab support, and security systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Science discipline (Level 8).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, quality systems, and project management principles.
- Demonstrated experience managing service providers and engaging senior stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
