Occupational Therapists play a crucial role in helping individuals with disabilities to develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and work.
About This OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing specialist services to children and young people with complex disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- You will work collaboratively with families and carers to provide assessment and interventions in line with principles of Children's Disability Network Teams
- Provide therapeutic services to children and young people (0-18 years) with complex needs arising from a disability
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
- CORU registration or eligibility to register with CORU
- Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in paediatrics and working with children with complex disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience in clinical supervision and leadership
