Our Construction Plant Fitting Apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to learn the ins and outs of maintaining and repairing high-value construction equipment.

As a trainee in this field, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and repairing mobile machinery such as diggers, HGVs, LCVs, and dumper trucks
  • Working with stationary equipment like generators, water pumps, and compressors
  • Diagnostics and fault-finding including electrical systems
  • Welding, fitting, and mechanical repairs

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Aged 16 or over
  • Completed Junior Certificate or equivalent
  • Available for full-time on-the-job training and off-site block release phases
  • Licence to work in Ireland
