Infrastructure Reliability Specialist

Within this role, you will be working closely with the DevOps, Development and Testing teams to drive enhancements in automation, logging, monitoring, observability, infrastructure configuration, and scripting languages. Your focus will be on ensuring the reliability and maintainability of our Enterprise-wide services developed by Cyber Security Technology as part of Global Information Security at Bank of America. Collaboration and effective communication are key to this role, as you will interact with Business stakeholders and other technical teams globally across the company. We are looking for an individual with strong relationship-building and communication skills, as well as experience in scripting/automation languages, Windows and Linux server support and access systems. Supporting Linux environments is essential, and knowledge of Ansible/Jenkins and monitoring tools like Dynatrace / ITRS is desirable. This role requires previous Systems Engineering and Deployment experience, as well as Application Management and Support experience. It also demands a deep understanding of software and/or application lifecycle, the implementation of security principals throughout, and experience with databases and associated query languages. Furthermore, we expect our ideal candidate to possess security vulnerability remediation expertise, strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking, and the ability to identify, analyse, and address problems to resolve issues in a way that minimizes negative impact and risk to the organization. A strong leadership presence and effective communication skills are also required. Ultimately, we seek a highly motivated and willing-to-learn individual who can thrive in our dynamic environment.
