Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead group-wide financial operations and support strategic decision-making across the business.

This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and has line management responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial operations across the group including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management.
  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly and annual financial reports.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring reconciliations and transfer pricing adjustments are accurate.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and tax reporting obligations.
  • Partner with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
  • Lead revenue analysis and optimisation strategies.
  • Manage financial risks including compliance, fraud, and cybersecurity risks.
  • Support business leaders with financial planning, commercial insight, and performance analysis.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
  • 5+ years post-qualification experience as a Financial Controller, ideally in a regulated or global organisation.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency with financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience.
  • Strong analytical mindset and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
