About the Role

As an IT Security Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security measures to safeguard our computer systems, networks, and information. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

You will be reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer and will be working closely with other teams to ensure the effective implementation of security protocols and procedures.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Engineer and implement security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and information.
  • Identify and define system security requirements.
  • Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cybersecurity designs.
  • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
  • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
  • Participate in security incident management, chairing meetings to address actual and potential issues.
  • Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement.
  • Assist with security awareness, providing training, developing materials, and presenting at town halls and to senior management.
RequirementsEducation
  • Hold a recognized degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Possess relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
Experience
  • Demonstrate significant experience as a Security Engineer or Information Security Architect.
  • Have expertise in Azure/O365 security knowledge/qualifications/operational practice.
  • Be familiar with web-related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service-Oriented Architectures) and network/web-related protocols.
  • Have experience building and maintaining security systems.
  • Have good technical knowledge of database and operating system security.
  • Be experienced in scripting in a Windows environment.
  • Have thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
  • Knowledge of PCI requirements and/or EIOPA Regulations, DORA regulations.
  • Experience working in a regulated company.
  • Familiarity working in an environment using 3rd party suppliers to host and manage infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks e.g. ISO27001, Cobit.

  • Good negotiation skills, self-motivated, results-focused, able to drive results while being a team player.
  • People management ability and ability to present to C-suite.
