Job Title:

Supplier Quality Engineer


Job Description:

The primary function of the Supplier Quality Engineer is to ensure that suppliers meet the required quality standards. This involves leading supplier engagement related to barcode readiness, reviewing and approving supplier PPAPs, and ensuring that supplier marking systems meet MDR durability and traceability criteria.

The Supplier Quality Engineer will also be responsible for coordinating resolution of NCs, change control, and inventory disposition workflows. They will collaborate closely with ME/QE teams to ensure that supplier deliverables align with internal barcode standards and milestones.

Additionally, the Supplier Quality Engineer will maintain supplier audit trail and risk-based documentation for MDR compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and will be able to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Systems: OnePLM, Trackwise, SLMS, GIM
- Process: PPAP, supplier readiness, NC/CAPA, barcode traceability, supplier audit response
- Standards: EU MDR, ISO 13485, UDI supplier integration
- Competencies: Self-directed, supplier-savvy, able to manage external/internal alignment, fast-paced readiness executor
