Cloud Security Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Consultant to join our team. As a Cloud Security Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering cloud transformation projects from planning through successful deployment.

Your key responsibilities will include ownership of implementation and integration of cloud architecture designs, with a focus on security aspects in Microsoft 365 and Azure Cloud security platforms. You will assist customers to evaluate, design and implement seamless security solutions bridging across on-premises and cloud services.

  • You will document implementations thoroughly via technical documentation and run-books.
  • You will provide input and feedback on security architectures.
  • You will instruct and assist customers in operationalizing Microsoft security solutions using operational processes and procedures.
  • You will act as a subject matter expert for cloud and security within the company and projects; promoting cloud solutions and training other teams and customers.
  • You will participate in efforts to shape the organisation's security policies and standards for use in cloud environments.
  • You will translate security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate security risks to stakeholders.
  • You will stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and controls.
Key Requirements
  • You should have a University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Information Security, Computer Science or similar, or equivalent professional work experience.
  • Certifications in Microsoft Cloud technology, ideally MS-500 or SC-100, SC-200, SC-300; other security certifications such as AZ-500, SSCP, CCSP, GSEC, or CASP+ are valuable.
  • You should have at least 4 years of practical information security experience, with a focus on Microsoft Cloud implementations for at least two years.
  • You should have a solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorisation and security.
  • You should have a deep understanding of cloud security technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure) and Zero Trust concepts.
