Job Title: Heavy Goods Vehicle Operator

About the Role:
As a skilled driver of a heavy goods vehicle, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting concrete to designated locations in Kildare and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a 4 axle truck with a rotating drum mixer, ensuring timely delivery of concrete to meet customer demands.
• Collaborate with dispatchers to coordinate schedules and routes, ensuring optimal logistics and minimal delays.
• Maintain a high level of safety awareness, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on the vehicle, including cleaning and checking vital systems.
• Develop strong relationships with customers, providing excellent service and support.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional half-day shifts on Saturdays. Flexibility is key, with an average of around 50 hours per week.

Requirements:
• Essential qualifications include a valid C Licence, CPC, tachograph card, Safe Pass certification, and Manual Handling certificate.
• Previous experience as a heavy goods vehicle operator is preferred, particularly those with experience driving 4 axle vehicles. A strong commitment to safety and compliance is essential.
