Job Title:
Senior Data Governance SpecialistAs a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative data-driven strategies while ensuring compliance with European data protection laws. This pivotal role requires strong expertise in GDPR and its application within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing data governance frameworks and policies to ensure compliance with European data protection laws.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to assess and mitigate privacy risks in new initiatives and projects.
  • Monitoring current and emerging data privacy regulations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting the implementation of privacy laws across Europe, including operationalizing GDPR requirements.
  • Educating teams on data protection obligations under GDPR and other applicable laws.
Requirements:
  • Strong expertise in GDPR and its application within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of legal experience, including a minimum of 4 years in privacy-related roles.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, additional languages and experience in US or multinational companies are preferred.
  • A background in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or related life sciences.
