Cochlear Department System Upgrade Lead

We are seeking an experienced technical professional to lead the upgrade and optimisation of our Cochlear Department's ICT infrastructure. This is a critical project that will enhance patient care and improve operational efficiency in the department.
The successful candidate will take the lead in managing the design, implementation, and ongoing support of the system upgrade. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical staff, project managers, and external vendors, to ensure the successful deployment of advanced technology solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in desktop systems, medical devices, software applications, and network infrastructure. They will also have experience in system architecture, design, and deployment, as well as proven ability to lead complex technical projects.
In addition to their technical skills, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and communicate complex technical information to non-technical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the technical aspects of the Cochlear Department system upgrade, including infrastructure design, implementation, and optimisation.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define the project scope, timeline, and technical objectives.
- Liaise with the Hospital's ICT department to ensure clear communication, alignment on objectives, and timely delivery of technical milestones.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) as a Senior ICT Engineer or Technical Lead.
- Strong expertise in desktop systems, medical devices, software applications, and network infrastructure.
- Experience in system architecture, design, and deployment.
- Proven ability to lead complex technical projects, including vendor management, timelines, and resource allocation.
