Chill Plant Mechanic Role

The Refrigeration Mechanic role is ideal for an experienced professional who can work with industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. As a highly skilled Chill Plant Mechanic, you will provide service and maintenance on industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out preventative maintenance functions on refrigeration systems to prevent breakdowns
  • Identify and rectify faults on industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
  • Liaise with other engineers on equipment installation and repair
  • Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, administration staff, management, and team members to ensure timely responses and efficient completion of tasks
  • Manage your workload to enable maximum efficiency within the framework of existing systems and procedures
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of industrial, commercial, and air conditioning systems utilizing various types of refrigerants
  • At least 3 years' experience in Refrigeration repairs and maintenance and Air Conditioning repairs and maintenance
  • Relevant qualifications in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning
  • F-Gas certification
  • Discipline with excellent time-management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and accuracy
  • Flexibility to cope with varied demands and work at all levels
  • High-level interpersonal skills to communicate with people on all levels
  • Must be a team player and customer-focused
  • Confidential and discrete in all circumstances
  • A full, clean driving licence - essential
Desirable Skills:
  • Level 6 qualified Refrigeration engineer

Working Conditions:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Some weekends
