Chill Plant Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to work with industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality service and maintenance on industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
  • Become an active team member working with other engineers to complete tasks
  • Liaise with other electrical engineers on equipment
  • Liaise with customers, engineers, administration staff, management and other team members ensuring timely responses to enquiries and returning paperwork and dockets to the office
  • Prioritise own workload, when appropriate, to enable maximum efficiency within the framework of existing systems and procedures
  • Partake in a standby rota for out-of-hours service calls and emergency callouts including weekends and all Bank Holidays
  • Support other Service regions, company departments and divisions as required

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of industrial commercial and air conditioning systems utilising all types of refrigerants
  • At least three years' experience in the field of Refrigeration repairs and maintenance and Air Conditioning repairs and maintenance
  • Relevant Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Qualifications
  • F-Gas certification
  • Highly disciplined with excellent time-management skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure at the same time maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy
  • Flexible able to cope with a variety of demands and to work with individuals at all levels
  • High-level interpersonal skills able to communicate with people on all levels must be a 'team player' and customer-orientated
  • Confidential and discrete in all circumstances
  • Clean current full driving licence essential
  • Ability to undertake basic research
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Attention to detail in regards to paperwork and certification provided to clients
