Modular Building Designer

Your new role will see you working with a leading Irish firm specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of high-quality modular buildings.

With over four decades of experience, they deliver energy-efficient modular builds for the education, healthcare and commercial sectors.

Their off-site construction model enables faster delivery and customised building systems that meet clients' requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce detailed drawings using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a design team environment.
  • Liaise with Architects, Engineers and other internal/external stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  • Deliver production drawings on schedule to support project timelines.
  • Prepare technical details and service arrangement drawings as required.
  • Participate in team meetings to report on design progress and assist in planning.
  • Maintain communication with project professionals to ensure seamless collaboration and progress.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

A degree in Architectural Technology or related field, with 4+ years' experience in industry

Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software

Solid understanding of current Irish building regulations

Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and prioritise based on project and manufacturing requirements

Modular experience a plus, but not essential. Site experience also beneficial
