Job Opportunity

We are seeking an Early Years Educator to join our team in a full-time position. This role involves supporting the Preschool Teacher in an ECCE classroom of 11 children, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Preschool Teacher in daily activities.
  • Assist with daily planning, child observations, and scrapbooks.
  • Develop excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues, families, children, and staff.

Requirements

  • QQI Level 5 or 6 qualification is required.
  • Planned progression to QQI Level 7 is an advantage.
  • Two signed references are necessary.
  • Garda Vetting will be processed.
  • Further training will be provided, including First Aid, Manual Handling, and Fire Safety.

Work Hours and Salary

This is a 35-hour weekly position, working 8am-3pm. The salary starts from €14 per hour, depending on the level of qualification.

Location

The job is located in Athgarvan, Newbridge, Co.Kildare.
