Job Title: Collections Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Collections Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in accounts receivable administration, with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoicing claims promptly after patient discharge.
  • Reconciling received payments and following up with insurance providers, patients, and other third parties for outstanding balances.
  • Handling pended claims from insurance providers, ensuring timely information return.
  • Processing overdue letters to patients for owed monies.
  • Liaising with third-party collection agencies.
  • Following up on unpaid or pended claims.
  • Responding to customer enquiries regarding invoices.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of accounts receivable administration experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
