Accounting and Fund Specialist Role

This is a great opportunity to join our team as an accounting and fund specialist. You will be responsible for reviewing daily cash, position, and market value reconciliations, including trade capture and pricing.

As an accountant in this role, you will also assist in the dealing date accounting process, providing high-quality reporting and accuracy in a timely manner to meet client needs.

Additionally, you will act as an escalation point for junior staff and serve as the primary contact for clients.

You will manage workflow, ensuring procedures are up-to-date and provide training to strengthen technical skills while furthering soft skills within your team.

Working closely with colleagues in various locations, you will review output from fund accountants and work on complex financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, futures options, and swaps.

Assisting in semi-annual and annual audits, you will be responsible for identifying unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and reporting accordingly.

We are seeking individuals with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to problem-solve under tight deadlines.

Effective communication skills and the ability to escalate issues appropriately are also essential.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in any discipline and have prior experience in fund accounting.
