The role of an Occupational Health Nurse is pivotal in ensuring the well-being of employees within a workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing pre-employment medical assessments and screenings
- Leading absence management and case management processes
- Collaborating with the OH physician to develop and deliver OH services
- Conducting ergonomic risk assessments and providing recommendations
- Identifying opportunities to enhance OH processes and services
- Qualifications as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) registered with NMBI
- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health (desirable)
This role plays a critical part in maintaining a healthy and productive work environment, making it an essential position for any organization. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work autonomously, and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Additional Skills- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
