Key Responsibilities:- Select and prepare appropriate welding equipment, including electric arc and gas torches.
- Connect wires to power supplies and hoses to gases (oxygen, acetylene, argon, carbon dioxide).
- Adjust controls to regulate gas pressure and rate of flow.
The Welder will be responsible for cutting metal pieces using gas torches and electric arcs, guiding electrodes and torches along lines of weld, burning away damaged areas, and melting brazing alloy and solder into joints.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as Welding Trades, possess the ability to join metal parts by welding, brazing, and soldering, and cut and remove defects from metal using various equipment and techniques.
