We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality person-centred care.

About the Role

As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in supporting the provision of physiotherapy services to adults with intellectual and physical disabilities.

You will be responsible for managing neurological, musculoskeletal, and orthopaedic conditions, as well as providing 24-hour postural management and orthotic clinics.

In addition, you will lead hydrotherapy programmes and contribute to our falls management programme.

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to train staff within both the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and the wider organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage neurological, musculoskeletal, and orthopaedic conditions in adults with intellectual and physical disabilities.
  • Provide 24-hour postural management and orthotic clinics.
  • Lead hydrotherapy programmes.
  • Contribute to falls management programme.
  • Train staff within MDT and wider organisation.
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working with adults with intellectual and physical disabilities.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
