About the Role:The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support to the three Children's Disability Network Managers (CDNM). The role involves supporting daily administrative tasks, streamlining processes across various teams, and helping the CDNMs optimize their time.
Main Responsibilities:- Implement, improve, and maintain administrative procedures and systems
- Serve as the first point of contact for external requests (e.g., Assessment of Need)
- Coordinate the collection of monthly statistics and metrics for review and approval
- Organize events such as family forums and training sessions
- Develop and manage newsletters in consultation with CDNMs
- Act as a key contact for data management system implementation
- Manage mileage and expenses for review and approval
- Prepare information for CDNMs for meetings and follow-up actions
- Relevant professional experience as a Clerical Officer within statutory health agencies or similar bodies
- Or educational qualifications including a pass (Grade D) in at least five subjects in the Leaving Certificate, including Mathematics and English or Irish, with at least Grade C on higher level papers in three subjects
- Or equivalent examination qualifications from other jurisdictions
- Or a relevant third-level qualification of at least level 6 on the QQI framework
Candidates must demonstrate high standards of suitability, including knowledge and ability for the role. A full driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are essential. Experience in Disability Services is advantageous.
