Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Transportation team in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of high-profile and meaningful projects, including designing and delivering people-focused infrastructure that supports walking, wheeling, cycling, and public transport.

Our team specializes in creating practical and buildable engineering solutions that improve how people move around their communities, making best use of constrained spaces in both urban and rural settings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Civil Engineering, with excellent technical skills, good report writing skills, and the ability to structure and prioritize work effectively.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will gain hands-on experience with industry-leading tools and contribute to projects at all stages from early feasibility through to detailed design and construction support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist in the design and delivery of people-focused infrastructure projects.
  • To develop practical and buildable engineering solutions that improve how people move around their communities.
  • To work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects to the highest standards.
  • To contribute to project planning, coordination, and execution.

Requirements:

  • A BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering or General Engineering, with a 2:1 (or equivalent) or above.
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of industry-leading software and tools.
  • Good report writing skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
