Sustainable Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure group, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our cities and environments.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for sustainable development and environmental management. You will be responsible for leading on the coordination and delivery of environmental work undertaken by multi-disciplinary teams, including Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), options appraisals and environmental management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead on the coordination and delivery of environmental work undertaken by multi-disciplinary teams.
  • To champion high standards of environmental performance within multidisciplinary engineering projects, influencing project development and delivering optimal environmental outcomes.
  • To collate and edit information from a range of sources to provide clear, well-written reports.
  • To competently undertake own work to an excellent standard, and review the work of others, on time and to budget.
  • To manage clients' needs in a confident, professional manner.
  • To lead and support on bid preparation and develop new areas of business for the team.
  • To undertake Continual Professional Development in accordance with requirements of chosen professional institute.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree or master's in an environmental or science subject, with Chartership from a relevant institution. You will also require substantial relevant post-graduate experience, preferably within a consultancy environment. Experience working on linear infrastructure projects would be beneficial.
