Job Title: Community Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Community Program Coordinator. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract position.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administration and coordination of community programs. This includes ensuring the effective management of human, financial, and material resources.

Main Responsibilities
  • Administration:
    • Manage financial systems and accounting procedures.
    • Prepare and submit financial returns, including wage claims, materials claims, and participant development grant claims.
    • Implement and maintain efficient record-keeping systems, including time-tracking and participant information.
  • Training and Development:
    • Support the development of training plans for participants.
    • Source and coordinate training opportunities that meet the needs of participants.
    • Monitor and evaluate training outcomes.
  • Human Resources:
    • Plan and coordinate work schedules for participants.
    • Communicate effectively with participants and stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with participants, IWA staff, and volunteers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Business, Financial Administration, Training, Human Resources, or Project Management.
  • Previous supervisory experience, preferably in a similar field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
