Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Medical Scientist to join our team at Naas General Hospital.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position requiring 35 hours of work per week.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring consumables and reagent stock supplies associated with the section.
  • They will also participate in laboratory meetings, particularly about assessment of performance, development of the service, and organisational changes.
  • To maintain and improve analytical quality in the department by participating in and facilitating of Quality Assurance and Audits.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be registered or eligible for registration on the Medical Scientists Register maintained by the Medical Scientists Registration Board at CORU.
  • Permission to work in Ireland.
  • A professional approach to work and flexibility in work practice.
