Lead Transportation Engineer Role

The ideal candidate for this position will be a seasoned transportation engineer with extensive experience in road and highways engineering. They will have a proven track record of delivering complex transportation projects, including high-profile schemes such as bus priority and greenways initiatives.

This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance and oversight on project delivery, ensuring that all works meet or exceed client expectations.

  • Mitigate contract risks associated with scope creep and monitor key project performance indicators.
  • Provide technical scrutiny and verification of project deliverables.
  • Demonstrate team leadership skills and undertake mentoring duties.
Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement project plans.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors.
Requirements
  • Ideal candidate should hold chartered status with a relevant institution.
  • Experience in road and highways engineering is essential.
  • Familiarity with NTA and TII Standards, Project Management Guidelines, and Project Appraisal Guidelines is desirable.
