Job Overview:

A skilled Cash Management Professional is required to work within the banking and finance division of a global organisation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cash management and liquidity management, with a strong understanding of cash pooling activities and their role in optimising liquidity within a group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cash pooling activities, implementing and operating the cash pool, and working with the team to manage the group's intercompany financing.

In addition, the candidate will be involved in ongoing updates of the margin concept for internal interest calculation and will foster and develop banking relationships.

They will also be responsible for involvement in month-end closing and supporting the annual audit, working with external auditors in this regard. Other treasury projects and activities may also be assigned to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage cash pooling activities to optimise liquidity within the group
  • Implement and operate the cash pool
  • Work with the team to manage the group's intercompany financing
  • Ongoing update of margin concept for internal interest calculation
  • Foster and develop banking relationships
  • Involvement in month-end closing and supporting the annual audit
  • Support on other treasury projects and activities
Requirements:
  • Degree in accounting or finance
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively within the team and with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Highly motivated, flexible team player, capable of working in small teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and with a high volume of transactions
  • Strong attention to detail
