Senior Project Town Planner Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Town Planner to join our Planning team, contributing to the growth of the business while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary professionals.

Job Description:

This role provides the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects in the renewable energy, infrastructure, urban development, and waste sectors.

  • Preparing and submitting planning applications, as well as delivering strategic planning advice and guidance on consenting processes and strategies.
  • Delivering environmental reports and Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs) for renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with clients across various sectors, including public and private sector bodies.
  • Contributing actively to the delivery of a variety of environmental projects.
  • Leading and/or coordinating multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborating effectively within teams working to support the execution and completion of projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A degree and/or Masters in Town Planning.
  • A minimum of seven years' experience in town planning.
  • Extensive town planning experience and expert knowledge of planning and environmental legislation.
  • Corporate/Chartered membership of the IPI/RTPI.
