Job Title: Technical Project Manager Urgent Search

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager to drive technical delivery excellence. As a key team member, you will be responsible for aligning with a technical domain, developing expertise, and leading cross-functional engagement.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years' technical project management experience, with 6+ years industry experience preferably with an engineering background. They will also have previous experience in Lean and Agile Methodologies, experience in Software Delivery, and a strong background in knowledge sharing and working collaboratively with small teams.

In this role, you will focus on driving technical delivery excellence, owning cross-department process improvement initiatives, leading as a change agent, measuring the impact of change initiatives, and using data to guide decision-making. You will lead in the use of key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to track progress and demonstrate the value of change initiatives, using strong influencing skills.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced technical project manager to demonstrate their technical and organisational ability, to work with the deployment of cutting-edge IoT technologies in the automotive and agriculture connectivity spaces, and to gain insight into all aspects of our business.

  • Aligning with a technical domain to develop into an expert point of contact for those domains
  • Developing an understanding of industry trends and introducing and evangelising new ideas
  • Managing the interdependencies and flow of all work across many teams
  • Identifying, owning and driving short & long term initiatives across the company
  • Leading in driving lean principles and continuous improvement, using measurement and analysis to guide decision-making.
  • Identifying, mitigating and communicating risks in projects & programs to senior leaders and customers, and driving for ad-hoc delivery issue resolution
  • Working with existing Technical Delivery team to improve overall team technical delivery practises

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Technical Delivery Excellence: Align with technical domains, develop expertise, and lead cross-functional engagement
  • Own Process Improvement Initiatives: Drive cross-department process improvement initiatives and measure impact
  • Lead as Change Agent: Use data to guide decision-making and influence senior leaders
  • Manage Interdependencies: Manage the flow of work across multiple teams and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and introduce new ideas

Requirements:

  • 4+ years' technical project management experience
  • 6+ years industry experience preferably with an engineering background
  • Previous experience in Lean and Agile Methodologies
  • Experience in Software Delivery and knowledge sharing
