Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned ASIC Design Engineer to join our global semiconductor team. This role involves designing and optimizing hardware for better performance, power, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design digital circuits and optimize hardware for improved efficiency and effectiveness
  • Evaluate the feasibility of complex algorithms and technical requirements
  • Develop micro-architecture and specifications for new design projects
  • Develop and implement RTL designs for corresponding micro-architecture
  • Perform essential verification and debugging activities throughout project cycles
  • Optimize silicon cost and improve clock speed
  • Troubleshoot silicon issues related to product design

Requirements

  • 3-20 years of experience in ASIC design engineering
  • Expertise in Verilog/SystemVerilog design, Synopsys synthesis, low-power design, test plan development, coverage-based design verification
  • Experience with Computer Architecture, Computer Arithmetic, Low Power design, C/C++/Python programming languages desired
  • Desired experience in designing RTL for GPU, CPU, DSP, Machine-Learning, cache, controller, video, display, camera blocks in ASIC
  • Exposure to Graphics API (OpenGL, Vulkan, Direct3D, etc) is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to work as part of a collaborative team
