Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Job Description:

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations across our Timber Frame portfolio. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing exceptional leadership and governance to our clients' project management activities.

You will be responsible for acting as a direct client interface for construction compliance and EHS matters. This will involve ensuring all project solutions meet the highest standards of environmental, quality, and safety compliance. You will also be responsible for direct on-site supervision when required, ensuring key contractors and their teams safely deliver exceptional quality projects.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement robust project portfolio planning and scheduling. You will work closely with the in-house and on-site project teams to ensure seamless communication and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective project portfolio planning and scheduling.
  • Ensure all project solutions meet the highest standards of environmental, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Provide direct on-site supervision when required, ensuring key contractors and their teams safely deliver exceptional quality projects.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, builders, and architects to understand their needs and adapt accordingly.
  • Monitor and audit project sites for compliance and project delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience in a Compliance and/or Construction EHS role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to produce clearly written reports and present to a diverse stakeholder group.
  • Hold a current valid driving license.
