Job Description:

As a Senior Health Safety Environment Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the health and safety of employees and stakeholders on commercial construction projects. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a leading building contractor on a high-profile project in Bray.

The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification in safety or a related field, with previous experience in building construction project management. You will be responsible for conducting site inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures, and promoting a positive safety culture among employees and site staff.

This role requires excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to write clear concise reports. As a seasoned safety advisor, you will be experienced in working on site or supporting project-related health and safety initiatives.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and take corrective action
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety procedures to minimize risks
  • Collaborate with the safety team to promote a proactive health and safety approach
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on health and safety matters
  • Monitor and report on site accidents and incidents, and participate in internal investigations
