The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in archaeology, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects. A deep understanding of relevant legislation and regulations is essential, as well as the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Manage archaeological aspects of major infrastructure projects, including site investigations, excavation, and post-excavation work.
  • Develop and implement quality management processes to ensure compliance with TII standards.
  • Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including design teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Assess tenders for archaeological works and prepare applications for Ministerial Consents.

A full driving license and fluency in English (written and spoken) are also required. Professional membership of the Institute of Archaeologists of Ireland or equivalent organization is desirable.
