Senior Clinical Psychologist Role

The role of a Senior Clinical Psychologist involves providing high-quality psychological services to individuals with complex disabilities.

This position entails developing and implementing psychology strategy, overseeing the delivery of clinical services, engaging with stakeholders, promoting research and innovation, and sharing knowledge within the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive psychology strategy focused on autism and neurodiversity.
  • Clinical Expertise: Lead the delivery of high-quality psychological services, ensuring they align with established professional standards and guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with families, carers, and community organizations.
  • Research and Innovation: Encourage a culture of research and innovation within the organization.
  • Education and Knowledge Sharing: Promote education and knowledge-sharing within the team and wider services.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
  • Registration: Registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland is mandatory.
  • Experience: Significant experience in disability services is required.
