About the Role: We are seeking a Financial Data Specialist to join our Structured Credit team within the Structured Finance sector. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for analyzing complex financial data and developing insights that drive business decisions.

The Team: Our team is comprised of experienced professionals who share a passion for financial analysis and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. You will work closely with our Analytical Manager, Structured Finance and other team members to achieve common goals.

The Impact: The successful applicant will make a significant contribution to our ability to effectively serve our clients by providing timely and accurate financial analysis. You will have responsibility for reviewing and analyzing complex financial data, identifying trends and patterns, and developing insights that drive business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze complex financial data to identify trends and patterns.
  • Develop insights that drive business decisions.
  • Work closely with analysts to provide research and analysis for the Structured Finance team.
  • Review and run cash flow models.
  • Prepare and present analysis and recommendations to credit committees.
  • Act as a proactive member in ratings committees and in the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related subject/Pursuing post-graduate studies/CFA.
  • A S&P employee at this level typically has 3-6 years' experience in Securitization and/or CLO or credit analysis or related analytical fields.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable analytical work experience in the financial services industry and good numerical skills, with an ability to synthesize and interpret large volumes of data.
  • Comfortable with quantitative analysis and have a knack for problem-solving.
