Electrical Project Coordinator

As a skilled Electrical Site Chargehand, you will play a vital role in the delivery of cutting-edge projects. You will collaborate closely with site management and multidisciplinary teams of engineers and experts to ensure project success.

  • The successful candidate will lead a crew of direct labour and subcontractors while remaining on-site and maintaining high-quality standards.\
  • Support site foremen and project managers in daily site management tasks, ensuring efficient workflow and effective communication.\
  • Maintain detailed records of scope of work and capture additional requests outside the scope, communicating these to the project quantity surveyor team.\
  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols and promote a culture of quality excellence among team members.\
  • Develop a culture where safety and quality are paramount, actively promoting best practices throughout the project.\
  • Ensure all works are carried out to a high standard, complying with building regulations, national rules for electrical installations, and environmental standards.\
  • Provide lockout/tagout (LOTO) as required and ensure all necessary permits and SPA's are in place.

This role provides an opportunity to develop expertise across various sectors, including commercial, pharmaceutical, life sciences, blue-chip, construction, and more.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.\
  • Level 6 QQI Certificate in Electrical Craft Practice or equivalent qualification.\
  • Completed Electrical Verification & Certification course with a Qualified Certifier number advantageous.\
  • LOTO experience and demonstrated technical knowledge with practical application.
