We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team in building cutting-edge data-flows for sports performance technology.

As a backend engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing APIs and data processing pipelines that handle large amounts of data from sports teams worldwide.

In this role, you will collaborate with our data science team to build and maintain advanced data models that support the development of injury risk prevention technology.

You will have opportunities to work with new technologies and approaches to problem-solving, and contribute to the improvement of our engineering processes and standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient APIs and data processing pipelines.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to develop and maintain advanced data models.
  • Work closely with frontend engineers to build features that users love to use.
  • Help to identify and debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
  • Contribute to the development of our technical architecture as we continue to grow.
Requirements
  • Experience building APIs or working on dynamic web applications.
  • Able to adapt quickly to new technologies and languages.
  • Knowledge of Ruby is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services and Terraform is a bonus.
