Our organization is at the forefront of leveraging data-driven insights to revolutionize the sports industry. We're seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing and developing our core data-flows, focusing on security, robustness, and performance.

The Role

This is a key position that involves creating scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems, collaborating with Frontend Engineers to build user-centric features, and working closely with Data Scientists to implement cutting-edge injury risk prevention technology.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-performance, reliable, and maintainable backend architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Develop and implement advanced data processing techniques and models in collaboration with Data Scientists.
  • Debug production issues across multiple services and levels of the stack.
  • Contribute to our technical architecture as we continue to grow and evolve.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in building APIs or dynamic web applications.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and languages.
  • A strong understanding of security, privacy, and robustness principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services is a plus.
