Category Insights Specialist

We're seeking an expert in category insights to join our team. As a Category Insights Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering continuous insight through category performance monitoring.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Extracting insights from market data and using them to drive business growth;
  • Working closely with category and brand teams to ensure all new product developments are successfully launched into customers;
  • Managing relationships with research agencies to develop data-driven insights;
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders to influence business decisions;
  • Developing and executing shopper marketing plans to drive product sales;
  • Effectively managing budgets to maximize return on investment;
  • Executing successful tradeshows and category sells with retailers to drive sales at key occasions.

As a successful Category Insights Specialist, you will have a proven track record of success in a customer-facing role, strong analytical skills, and the ability to turn data into actionable insights. You will also have experience in manipulating data from Nielsen, Kantar, and Dunnhumby.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in category management, shopper marketing, or consumer insights;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to create data-driven stories;
  • Ability to manipulate data from leading market research firms;
  • Demonstrable record of success in a customer-facing role;
  • Proven success in budget management.
