Job Description

A skilled Stonemason and Stonecutter is required to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and construction of stonework, blockwork, and brickwork.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry, with experience in reading drawings, setting out works, and working with mortar, lime, and cement.

The Stonemason and Stonecutter will work alongside other skilled and non-skilled personnel, reporting directly to a supervisor/manager. They will also be responsible for mentoring, monitoring, and supervising apprentices.

The role involves operating machinery in a workshop, including power tools, and driving a mobile maintenance unit vehicle as required. The successful candidate must be physically capable of meeting the full range of the requirements of the position.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience (post qualification);
  • An Advanced Certificate in the Craft of Stonemasonry and Stonecutting;
  • A full, clean, and current driving license, category B & W;
  • A current Safepass card;
