Leinster Appointments is currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time HR Advisor.
This is a hybrid opportunity after the probation period is passed. The role involves providing guidance on handling disciplinary matters, grievances, and employee performance concerns.
The successful candidate will contribute to resolving workplace disputes and facilitating mediation when needed. They will also ensure that all employment practices align with current laws and internal procedures.
The HR Advisor will assist with hiring processes, including writing job adverts, reviewing applications, and participating in interviews. They will organize the onboarding process and ensure smooth inductions for new employees.
Additionally, the HR Advisor will oversee the completion of background checks and other pre-employment requirements. They will help managers carry out performance evaluations and create development plans.
They will track probationary periods and advise on next steps based on performance. The HR Advisor will recognize skill gaps and arrange appropriate training or learning opportunities.
They will support the creation and rollout of HR procedures and policy updates. The HR Advisor will ensure that all HR documentation is current and compliant with legal standards.
Furthermore, they will promote employee understanding and consistent application of HR policies. The HR Advisor will track employee absences and analyze related trends, producing relevant reports.
They will facilitate return-to-work meetings and manage referrals to occupational health. The HR Advisor will administer parental leave and other statutory leave entitlements.
Finally, they will keep employee files accurate and current at all times. The HR Advisor will compile and present HR data and insights for leadership teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications- CIPD – NFG Level 7 or equivalent experience.
- Solid knowledge of Irish employment law and knowledge on health & safety legislation.
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role.
- Excellent communication, discretion, and interpersonal skills.
