Epic Willow Implementation Lead, Healthcare IT

We are seeking an experienced Epic Willow implementation lead to join our healthcare IT team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare IT, with expertise in Epic product function, design, build, and testing.

Responsibilities include leading Epic software upgrade initiatives, collaborating with end-users to design and implement the Epic system, and providing technical and clinical consultation to stakeholders. This role requires a deep understanding of Epic EMR and the full implementation lifecycle of Epic's suite of EMR applications.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, vendors, and system staff at all levels. Additionally, they should have a strong understanding of project management principles and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements
  • Degree required e.g. Associate, Bachelor, Master or a minimum of proven years healthcare experience.
  • Active / current Epic certification in at least one area; Willow, or Beacon and strong Epic Experience.
  • Direct client healthcare domain knowledge such as clinical documentation workflow, patient portal, closing encounters, and patient flow.
