Job Description

This role involves managing and coordinating a suite of part-time programs in Humanities, Languages, and Science. The primary responsibilities include being the first point of contact for students and staff, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of courses and a positive learning experience.

The Coordinator will plan and manage the online learning timetable and course assessment schedule for a series of modules and programmes, liaising with lecturers in relation to all aspects of programme teaching requirements and planning & management of linked on-campus class-based examinations where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for all current and prospective students providing information and guidance on course content, registration procedures, study commitments, credit requirement and assessment schedules.
  • Plan and manage the online learning timetable and course assessment schedule for a series of modules and programmes, liaising with lecturers in relation to all aspects of programme teaching requirements and planning & management of linked on-campus class-based examinations where necessary.
  • Preparation of marks for exam board meetings in association with course lecturers.
Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent administrative, planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An empathetic and sensitive approach to working with non-traditional/mature students.
  • Capable of working unsupervised on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft suite SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel.
