**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with trading strategy and infrastructure development teams to develop and deploy new technologies and strategies. You will be an important part of getting our automated trading desk up and running, working directly with technologists, traders, and quantitative research analysts to develop tools for monitoring and supporting the production environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with traders, quants, and other developers. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is required, as well as demonstrated proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, bash, and shell.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Develop scripts for monitoring the state of the production environment and its dependencies
  • Work with the Platform Engineering team to assist in server imaging, testing, and deployment
  • Act as a liaison between the trading desk and network, security, market data, and platform teams for system-level production issues and new setups
  • Monitor and support a highly distributed production system
  • Provide multi-level support for traders, strategists, and quantitative researchers
