Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the support and development of automation systems on site.

The Automation Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting and fault-finding on complex automation equipment and networks, reviewing and understanding software programs developed by others, and integrating MES EBR systems with manufacturing and packaging equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of change control and working in validated systems, as well as experience integrating SCADA systems with MES platforms.

A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and documentation requirements.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Dublin, Ireland.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with automated control systems in a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Solid understanding of change control and working in validated systems.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating SCADA systems with MES platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and documentation requirements.

They will also be responsible for preparing and reviewing design documentation, URS/FDS/CS documents, and tender specifications.
